Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what Profile Audit ("we", "the service") collects, why, and your choices. We aim to collect as little as possible.
What we collect
- Account info — your email and a login identifier, handled by our auth provider (Clerk). We never see or store your password.
- Your audits — the coaching audit generated for a profile you upload (score, strengths, fixes, etc.), plus the extracted text that was scored, saved to your account so you can revisit it.
- Usage — how many audits you've run in the current period, to apply plan limits.
What we do NOT collect
- Your PDF file — the uploaded PDF is read entirely in your browser. Only the extracted text leaves your device; the raw file never reaches us.
- Payment card details — if/when payments are enabled, cards are handled by Stripe on their systems. We never see card numbers.
How we use it
To generate and store your audits, apply your plan's limits, and operate the service. The extracted profile text is sent to an AI provider (e.g. Google Gemini, OpenCode Zen) solely to produce your audit.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share only with the processors that run the service: our auth provider (Clerk), database (Supabase), AI provider(s), hosting (Vercel), and — if enabled — payments (Stripe). Each processes data only to provide their part of the service.
Retention & your control
- Delete any audit at any time from your History page — it's removed from our database.
- Delete your account from your account menu (Clerk); contact us to remove associated audits.
Your rights
Depending on your location (e.g. GDPR/CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Contact us to exercise them.
